Jessi Rivin

Jessi Rivin is a fifth year doctoral candidate in Organizational Behavior at Leeds School of Business. Upon graduation, she will be joining Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University in fall of 2023. Her research broadly focuses on mental health, leadership, motivation, and diversity in the workplace. She is specifically interested in (1) how employees handle mental health challenges in the workplace and (2) how organizations can better support their employees’ well-being. Her work has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology and Harvard Business Review. Her research has also been presented at conferences such as the Academy of Management (AOM), Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and the Interdisciplinary Leadership Symposium (IPLS). Prior to joining Leeds, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
